Update on Use of Personal Data
We are writing to you regarding the recent changes in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance in Hong Kong, which relate to the use of personal data for direct marketing purposes.

To All Members,
The Board of Governors decided on April 20, 2013 to review the Corporate membership. All new applications for Corporate membership will be suspended until further notice with effect from April 22, 2013.
New applications for Correspondent, Journalist, Associate and Diplomatic memberships are not affected and continue to be accepted by the Club.

Ballot forms for the election have been sent out on Wednesday, 10 April 2013. Members who have not notified the office of a change of address and have consequently failed to receive a form can obtain a replacement from the office, please bring along proof of change of address. To enhance the integrity of the election and conform with best practice the ballot forms have been printed at a security printing firm. Should there be a need for a replacement ballot form please contact the office in person. |
