Topic: How social networks are changing the news business

The Arab Spring, China rail disaster and London riots are just three examples of how social networks have changed the way news is gathered and created. An FCC panel of two editors and a former veteran journalist will open the discussion on the advantages – and potential dangers – of using social media to report news.

This panel is the first in a series of club events aimed at helping journalist members exchange their experience and ideas.
