Deep purplish ruby-red in colour, opens with aromas of sweet spice and chocolate that lead the way to black fruits that meld with the variety’s characteristic black pepper notes. Exuberant and intense flavours on the palate with a touch of roasted red pepper. The palate displays very sweet, soft, and ripe tannins with firm acidity.

EC004 Errazuriz Icon Don Maximiano 2007 $423
Intense, deep, ruby-red in colour with a bright purplish hue. The nose recalls cherries, cassis, truffles, and blueberries. The palate shows firm, ripe tannins that ensure excellent longevity in the bottle. The long and very elegant finish shows the wine’s youth today and will gain in complexity with time in the bottle.
