Welcome to FCC Charity

The FCC is proud to be a centre for conversation and socialisation in Hong Kong, but it also strives to be an active participant in the Hong Kong community. This year, for the first time, the FCC is partnering with nine hand-chosen charities to give back. Members are encouraged to join the new programme, dubbed “One Day’s Work.” Between September 2024 and September 2025, members of the FCC can pledge to donate one day’s work, or eight hours, to volunteer with a charity of their choice. Our partner charities have selected opportunities for volunteering that tap a variety of needs and skills levels. Volunteers who sign up with the FCC through this website can indicate which charity and work they would like to do. Those active with their own charities of choice can still be part of the programme by pledging to do eight hours of volunteering elsewhere. The eight hours can be broken up into smaller chunks of time and can be done any time during the 12 month period. Our work is a visible demonstration of how the FCC and its members hope to foster a positive and supportive community for all in Hong Kong..
