Visiting journalists
Professional journalists visiting Hong Kong can apply for a temporary membership at Reception. They must fill in a form and submit proof of their status as a journalist (such as a business card or official press card) as well as proof of overseas residence (such as a passport or return airplane ticket.)
Temporary Members
Visiting professionals who are not journalists can also apply for a temporary membership if they are introduced by a current member. Please ask Reception for a form, which needs to be submitted along with a photocopy of the identity details in the visitor’s passport, a passport-sized photograph and proof of residential address. Reciprocal members
Members of reciprocal clubs can apply for visitor status. They must provide their reciprocal club membership card and a document identifying themselves as an active member of their respective club. Those wishing to take advantage are advised to contact the FCC at [email protected] at least 3 days before their visit.
Absent members
Members leaving Hong Kong may apply for Absent Membership for a fee of HK$2,000. Absent members do not pay monthly subscriptions. Please contact the Membership team at [email protected] for more details
