A mere six months after Max Verstappen controversially won his first World Championship, the 2022 Formula One season is proving just as intense. Verstappen faces a new rival in Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc whilst another of the young generation, George Russell, is quickly emerging as the next superstar. Meanwhile the sport’s dominant driver for much of the past decade, Lewis Hamilton, endures one of the toughest seasons of his long career. F1 journalist and broadcaster Matthew Marsh brings his unrivalled insight into how the season is evolving, the backstories and drama behind the headlines of a sport which is going from strength to strength despite unprecedented challenges. Moderated by FCC Second Vice President and RTHK Radio 3’s motor racing correspondent Tim Huxley.

Matthew Marsh is a Formula One analyst and presenter, having presented the FOX Sports Asia coverage of F1 for two decades before establishing the online show: www.GoF1.tv.

He is also the founder of brand consultant EDJ Ltd, who have assisted numerous companies in accessing Formula One as a marketing platform. Having enjoyed a successful career as a professional racing driver, including winning the 2004 Carrera Cup Asia and competing in top level endurance racing at Le Mans, Daytona and elsewhere, he has successfully turned his hand to motorsport media and the commercial side of the sport.
