Just past his first one hundred days in office, Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee is scheduled to deliver his maiden Policy Address to the Legislative Council on October 19. He has pledged to explain in the address his governing concepts and policies which include “fighting for enterprise and talents” as well as pushing for land and housing projects with “speed, efficiency, quantity, and quality.” A luncheon panel with representatives of business chambers from from Australia, the European Union and the United States will share their views on the government’s blueprint of moving Hong Kong forward.
