| Wirecard, a former DAX-listed fintech company specialising in discreet online payments, filed for insolvency in 2020 after an exposé of its multi-billion-dollar fraud. SKANDAL! Bringing Down Wirecard is a Netflix feature documentary about a team of investigative journalists at the Financial Times unraveling the fraud. Dan McCrum, part of the investigations team and author of Money Men (now adapted as SKANDAL!), will join us on Zoom for a post-screening discussion on the challenges he and his team faced, including government allegations of market manipulation, as well as the lessons learnt regarding market oversight and much more.
