Almost a year ago, Anthony BOLTON announced his intention to postpone retirement and relocate to Hong Kong to manage a China fund for UK investors. At the time, he said China represented one of the greatest investment opportunities of the next decade. Anthony will share his thoughts on investing in China and why he continues to be optimistic about China as an investment destination. He will also discuss his views on the outlook for global markets as we move into 2011.

Anthony managed the Fidelity Special Situations Fund for 28 years and is one of the UK’s most successful contrarian investors. Between 1979 and 2007, he outperformed the stock market by six percentage points a year on average.

Mr. BOLTON published his second book last year, titled “Investing against the tide – Lessons from a life running money”, which has also been translated and published in Chinese. Anthony received an MA (Hons) in Engineering and Business Studies from Cambridge University.
