Cascina Barisel Moscato d’Asti DOCG ‘Canelli’ 2015 (750ml)

Tasting Note:

Pale yellow colour. Very refined fizz, persistent and creamy. On the nose are scents of Peach,apricot, mango, decorated by notes of citrus followed by herbal hints, especially ginger. On the mouth, the wine is bright, pure, and lively. The sweet and crispy feeling are greatly integrated and leave the palate clean. Long finish ending with a beautiful minerality.

Pietro Cassina ‘Nivis’ Coste della Sesia Bianco DOC 2014  (750ml)

Tasting notes:

Pale yellow with green reflections, the nose is intense and persistent characterized with the fragrance of fresh white flowers, thyme and pineapple. In the mouth the wine is dry with a harmonious balance between acidity Fruit and minerality. Long finish.

Castello di Verduno ‘Basadone’ Verduno DOC 2013 (750ml)

Tasting notes:

Bright ruby red. Intense and fragrant nose, showing clear spicy overtones of black pepper white pepper, and nutmeg, flowering herbs, crushed rock, as well as fruity sensations reminiscent of cherries in spirits and strawberries. Nicely-balanced, lingering dry flavour.

Silky, delicate Pinot Noir-like mouth, ending with a fresh acidity and focus. A red made from the rare Piedmontese variety Pelaverga, the name Basadone, the local name for the“wild poppy” was given to the wine due to its double meaning of “lady kisser” since according to popular tradition the wine is believed to have aphrodisiac properties.

Tasting notes:

Deep ruby red, developing orange reflections with age. The nose is very intense and persistent with floral notes of roses and violets followed by cherries and red forest fruits delicately framed with spices and a pronounced minerality. The mouth, dry sports well developed tannins, intense balanced and persistent echoing the aromas of the nose.

Great structure and harmony with a velvety mouth feel characteristics of the natural elegance of Nebbiolo wines from the Lessona area.

Tasting notes:

Made from a selection of Nebbiolo grapesgrown in several estate vineyards in the

Barbaresco area (Rabajà, Rabajà-bass and Faset), the wine is a classic garnet red typical of the Nebbiolo variety. Clean and precise with strawberries, violets ferns and black pepper at the nose. Long and flavoursome with wonderful balance.

Great light ruby red colour. Bouquet with spices, undergrowth, game, dried fruit leather and wild flowers.

Borgo Maragliano Piemonte Brachetto DOC 2014 (750ml)

Intense purple and ruby red, with typical aromas of wild roses and strawberries. Floral and musky notes abound with light nuances of wild berries. Sweet, aromatic and equilibrated in the mouth, with an enjoyable savoury finish with balmy echoes.
